A Holistic Approach

The process of becoming is holistic (mind, body, spirit) and requires an integral approach (alchemy).

  • A holistic approach honors the interdependence of mind, body, and spirit. It recognizes that true well-being arises when we integrate a deep self-awareness of all three elements of the Sovereign Self and nurture these elements simultaneously.

A holistic approach encourages mindful awareness and living with intentionality; it focuses on living into a sense of wholeness not brokenness. In aligning with and integrating our truest Self, the Sovereign Self, a holistic approach supports authenticity, presence, and purpose as well as life-work balance and resilience even in the most difficult of times (like today).

  • The process of becoming is not linear but cyclical, birthed out of cycles of rupture and reclamation. Becoming is unique to each person, even though our lived experiences are shared by millions of other people. However, how we make sense of those experiences is deeply personal. Thus, becoming must honor individuality and the Sovereign Self. We must address mind, body, and spirit simultaneously to become the fullest expression of our own human potential.

Reclamation

How do I create space to listen?

How do I begin returning?

How do I trust uncertainty?

Healing is an act of sacred remembrance.

Before we can reclaim the Sovereign Self, we must heal from the past— not from a place of fixing but with the goal of becoming.

We must compassionately integrate our shadows as reflections of our greatest strengths, our most luminous light, rather than striving to banish them. We must regain a sense of agency in our lives, ownership of our choice-making, and the courage to live true to what we know is best for us.

Renewal is an act of sacred witnessing of the Sovereign Self.

Healing is a lifelong process, but there is a threshold where we have healed enough. And then we must reclaim the Sovereign Self and renew our depleted energy.

We must (re)learn how to listen to our own inner wisdom and (re)claim our power. We need to manage or eliminate the things that drain our energy and (re)learn how to build our internal power. In a space of healing, we can discern what roles and mindsets do and do not serve us. We can clear space to become in ways aligned with who we truly are.

Every woman is a leader in her family, her workplace, and/or her community. Leadership lives moment by moment in how we show up. When we claim our personal power and own our voices, we become a spark for change.

Women have always held the power to spark change and create legacy because we hold power in the home and in education, where we shape the worldviews of new generations of citizens and leaders for a future we will never see.

Wild Becoming

What wants to emerge now?

Who do I want to become?

What am I ultimately seeking?

Creation is a sacred (re)commitment to honoring the Sovereign Self.

Once we have adequately healed and renewed, we are ready to step over the next threshold. We are ready to actively explore what we want to create for our Selves and our lives.

We know who we have been and how we got here, but where and how do we want to move forward? Do we need to realign our values, our expectations, our commitments, and/or our priorities? What needs to change, and what will we carry forward in the next stage of becoming?

Leading is a sacred promise to recreate a future we will never see.
